VSTU Representative Participates in "Nuclear Energy Safety" Conference

The XXII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Nuclear Energy Safety" was held at the Volgodonsk Engineering and Technical Institute of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Rostov Region).

The event brought together over 100 participants from 15 Russian cities, as well as specialists from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Algeria, Sudan, Germany, and China. The conference was organized into five sections. Representing Volgograd State Technical University (VSTU) in the section "Ensuring NPP Safety at All Stages of the Life Cycle," Pavel Kuteinikov, a postgraduate student of the Department of Electrical Engineering, presented a report titled "Comparative Analysis of Domestic and Foreign Reliability Indicators in Power Systems." The report was supervised by Dr. Sc. (Engineering), Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering Alexander Shilin.

The aim of the conference is to exchange experience and discuss current scientific issues related to ensuring the safety of nuclear power plants at various stages of the life cycle, taking into account socio-cultural, economic, and information aspects.
