VSTU Chess Players Win Bronze at International Online Tournament

An International Student Chess Tournament dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin took place, gathering 100 teams from Russia and Belarus. The competition was held online on the ChessOpen Play platform.
Our university was represented by two teams. In a very intense competition, the VolgSTU-1 team, consisting of Narek Manukyan (FEWT) and Ivan Rogov (FEWT), took 3rd place in the overall team standings! The intensity of the competition and the level of the event are evidenced by the fact that our team managed to surpass opponents from universities such as ITMO, UrFU, and others.
