Results of the Open Winter Volleyball Tournament of KTI (Branch) VSTU among Men's Teams

An open winter volleyball tournament among men's teams of the city of Kamyshin was held in the sports hall of the Kamyshin Technological Institute (Branch) of Volgograd State Technical University. The tournament was organized by the institute's sports club and timed to coincide with the celebration of the Russian Power Engineer's Day.

The following teams participated in the competition:

• The combined team "KTU Alumni - Kamyshin Thermal Power Plant"
• The combined team of the KTI Sports Club
• The combined team of university students studying in power engineering fields and specialties ("Department of EPP")
• The team of trainees from the City Sports School No. 2 (coach Alexander Rezvov)

The tournament champion became the combined team of the KTI Sports Club (captain Dmitry Varvarovsky).
Second place went to the "Department of EPP" team (captain Kirill Rezvov).
Third place was taken by the city team from Sports School No. 2 (captain Yaroslav Mukhin).

The deputy director of the institute and organizer of the competition, Alexander Gusev, presented the championship trophy to the winners, a commemorative statuette, medals, and honorary diplomas to all prize-winners.

He warmly congratulated all participants, winners, and prize-winners of the tournament, wishing them further sporting victories. He also congratulated everyone associated with the energy industry on their recent professional holiday.
