VSTU team took 3rd place in the main competition of the All-Russian Engineering Hackathon

A team of VSTU students took 3rd place in the main competition at the All-Russian Engineering hackathon. The team of VSTU consists of Dmitry Knyazev, Elizaveta Makarova, Alexander Porkhun, Valeria Ivanova, Maxim Lukin. Pavel Chekomasov, Alexey Zakharov and Maria Sipunova joined them in the blitz tournament. By the way, our students managed to take 1st place in the blitz tournament.

The All-Russian engineering hackathon "Whirlwind-2022" was held from the 15^th o of December to the 17^th at Moscow Polytechnic University. More than 30 teams of Russian universities` students and schoolchildren of grades 8-11 took part in the competition.

The main goal is to increase the level of technical training and literacy of students. During the competition, participants had to find solutions to the problems presented by industrial partners and reflecting their current or future developments. The participants gained practical skills in solving non-standard technical problems.
