Volgograd State Technical University entered the federal program "Priority 2030"

Yesterday it became known that Volgograd Technical University entered the federal Program of strategic academic leadership "Priority 2030".
A team of VSTU presented and defended a program at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. It was noted that growth of regional industry, urban environment and infrastructure are the main priorities in development. According to the developers, a target model of VSTU includes formation of a closed-cycle economy, assumes strengthening of the scientific and innovative role, human resources potential.
"Priority 2030" can become a real driver of regional economic and technological development. Each participating university will be provided with a basic grant (100 million rubles annually) for projects on regional, socio-economic development. Some universities will be able to apply for special grants based on the results of competitive procedures.
