The Pushkin Day was celebrated in Russia on the 6th of June

The 6^th of June is The Pushkin Day. Representatives of the Information and Library Center of the VSTU invite you to see a new virtual exhibition "Self-portraits of Pushkin, Pushkin in drawings and paintings by modern Russian artists".

If you want to appreciate the significance of Pushkin's works for Russia, you should know that he was called like "the echo of the Russian people".

Russian literary critic and pushkinist (researcher of Pushkin`s works), Valentin Semyonovich Nepomnyashchy, noted that Russian people do not treat anyone else so multilaterally, because Pushkin is "our country, which is expressed in one word".
