The guests visited VSTU as a part of the regional program of the World Youth Festival 2024 - "The Road of Memory"

Yesterday, A.E. Godenko, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Training Foreign Specialists of Volgograd State Technical University, welcomed foreign students at VSTU who arrived in Volgograd after the World Youth Festival 2024.

Addressing the guests, Alexey Efimovich said: "Volgograd is a city with a huge history, because Stalingrad is the birthplace of victory, the land of heroes. Preserving historical memory is not an empty word for Volgograd residents. The rewriting of our common history by the United States and Western countries is simply unacceptable. The implementation of the Special Military Operation is an important and necessary stage. This is protection of the civilian population of Donbass and the final victory over Nazism. Russia is invincible as long as we have friends in the world, thank you for coming to our country and Volgograd!" 

A large program was organized for young people at VSTU: they saw scientific equipment, participated in sports competitions, watched historical exhibits and were introduced to the work of students` organizations of our technical university. The guests of the World Youth Festival 2024 were absolutely delighted with all VSTU activities!
