We are in the final: Students from Volgograd will compete for the victory in the national Championship "Metal Cup"

The team of the Volgograd State Technical University "ГОСТbusters" won a prize in the semifinals of the National Championship "Metal Cup", which was held in April as a part of the 16th International Forum "Mir-Expo" in Moscow.
Participants solved a case from an industrial partner - "RUSLOM.KOM". As a result our team took bronze, beating very strong rivals.
What is the main factor of such serious victories? The factor is that the VSTU team includes students of various specialties. As the Scientific leader of the team, Ekaterina Selezneva, explained, in order to solve complex cases, it is necessary to include future technologists, chemists, as well as economists and ecologists in team. This is the only way to offer the most effective solution to the problem posed to the participants.
Our students have already intentioned to win in the final of the championship, which will be held on 26-29th of May on the basis of the regional operator "Skolkovo" in Yekaterinburg.
