From April 7 to 10, the XVI Conference of Young Scientists on General and Inorganic Chemistry was held at the Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IGIC RAS). Representatives of VSTU took part in the conference sessions.
Anastasia Lagutina (Assistant at the Department of Technology of Organic and Petrochemical Synthesis, VSTU) presented an oral report titled "New Supported Catalysts Based on Variable-Valence Metal Complexes for Continuous Processes of Norbornadiene Hydrogenation" in the session "Chemical Technology: Technological Fundamentals and Processes." Anastasia Vladimirovna was awarded a diploma from the editorial board of the journal "Theoretical Foundations of Chemical Technology" for the best oral presentation in the session.
Denis Nosulya (1st-year master's student) presented a poster titled "Study of Hydrogenation Processes of Unsaturated Oxygen-Containing Compounds in the Presence of Chemically Reduced Catalysts."
