International students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology of Volgograd State Technical University visited the production facilities of Volgokhimneft

International students of the Department of Organic and Petrochemical Synthesis Technology at the Faculty of Chemical Technology of Volgograd State Technical University (VSTU) visited the production facilities of LLC "VPO "Volgokhimneft" as part of their work placement.

This enterprise manufactures high-quality industrial oils, hydraulic fluids, and coolants/lubricants for various industries. The students were given a behind‑the‑scenes look at the company's operations. In the modern production workshop, which manufactures over 200 types of products, the interns were provided with a detailed explanation of the operation of each piece of equipment and had all their questions answered. They were also shown where and how finished products are stored, and the process of shipping ready goods was demonstrated.

The trainees also visited the research and development center, which focuses on developing innovative lubricating materials. Special attention was paid to the laboratories for analytical control of raw materials and finished products. Specialists from these departments conduct daily quality checks at all stages of production.

For the students, such a visit represents an opportunity to envision their future workplace and to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.
