International Festival of Russian Speech for International Students "Berega" (Shores)

Volgograd State Technical University (VSTU) invites you and your students to take part in the 10th International Festival of Russian Speech for International Students "Berega" (Shores), which will take place on April 23–24, 2026.

The theme of the festival is: "ABOUT RUSSIA WITH LOVE"

Objectives of the festival:

• Increasing the interest of foreign citizens in the Russian language, culture, and history;
• Forming creative motivation for the cognitive activities of foreign citizens in the Russian language;
• Improving communicative, linguistic, and speech competencies;
• Fostering an international educational space in the spirit of tolerance and respect for all cultures.

Festival program:

• Russian Language Olympiad (in-person and remote participation formats).
• Cultural and educational program for in-person participants.

The festival's competitive program includes tasks in the following categories:

1. Team Introduction (in-person and remote participation)
2. Artistic Recitation (in-person and remote participation)
3. Vocal Performance (in-person and remote participation)
4. Dramatization of a Literary Work (in-person and remote participation)
5. Role-Playing Game (in-person participation)
6. Written Work (in-person participation)
7. Video Presentation (remote participation)
8. Drawing and Photography (remote participation)
