The meeting of the Rectorate was dedicated to the perspectives of the development of the international cooperation

The Vice-Rector for the Academic Affairs of VSTU Sergey Kalashnikov reported on the realization of the programs and the perspectives of the development of the international cooperation during the meeting of the Rectorate.
The Flagship University is included in such prestigious international ratings as "Times Higher Education" (THE) - The Best Universities of the World 2018–2019". VSTU has the position 1001+ among the world Universities.
The University Authorities set the following tasks for the improvement of the results: search of the new areas of the cooperation, including the formation of the new partners' pool; international researchers' lectures; new areas of the educational activity (linguistic schools, workshops etc.); new methods and instruments of research obtained within the framework of the contests for the international grants; diversification of the educational trajectories.
Sergey Kalashnikov directed the attention to the realization of the recommended programs: RFFI (RFFR, Russian Fund of Fundamental Research), RGNF (RHRF, Russian Humanitarian Research Fund), Grants of the President of Russian Federation, DAAD, TEMPUS, Erasmus Mundus, Erasmus for everyone etc.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the perspectives of the development of the international cooperation: organization of the researchers' exchange; formation of the international research groups with our workers' participation; organization of our young researchers' training at leading international Universities, research centers and companies; use of English programs in the educational process etc.
The Vice-Rector for the Academic Affairs remarked the importance of the cooperation with RosCooperation, national operator for the international students' recruiting. He also suggested the realization of the top-priority project "Development of the export potential of Russian Educational System".
