The ceremony of awarding the best students of VSTU

Our University will celebrate the 87th anniversary at the end of May. According to the tradition, the event “Pride of VSTU. The XXI century” (ceremony of honoring the best students who succeeded in study, research, culture, sport and significant social activity) takes place in the run-up to this holiday.
The best students, their families, friends and teachers gathered in the events hall last Friday. More than 60 persons got the certificates of gratitude: students from the University, Architecture and Engineering Institute and Sebtyakovsky Affiliate of VSTU.
Vladimir Lysak, Rector of VSTU, corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences, remarked that VSTU was proud of its students and graduates. He wished them good luck, more ambition and achievement of their objectives. Then the students made the memorial photo with Vladimir Lysak and Ivan Novakov, President of VSTU, Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences.
The Vice-Head of the Students’ Council of VSTU Eugenia Taranova thanked the University Authorities, her teachers and friends. According to her words, it was her dream to be on this stage and all the laureates had made the right choice of the University.
The holiday continued. The concert with the spectators’ favorite collectives “Experiment”, “Welders’ Children” and “Grant” was the present for the best students.
