It’s the seventh time the annual inter-university fest of the students’ advertising works “Gold Tomato” has taken place at VSTU. It was organized by the “World Economy and Economic Theory” Chair of the “Economics and Management” Faculty. The teams from the Flagship University, Volgograd State University, Volgograd Social and Pedagogical College and Volgograd Technological College took part in the fest.
The fest was organized in 2 independent contests: “Free contest” and “Contest of creative teams”.
The theme of the “Free contest” was the social advertisement. The participants presented the works dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Stalingrad Battle, vision of the city and health living.
The students from the “Training and Retraining of Engineering Specialists” Faculty Denis Kravtsov and Roman Drobotov (group RM3-241s) won in the section “Graphical advertisement”. They presented the transport scheme of Volgograd with the historical objects and cultural monuments. The student of VSTU Pavel Karpunin (group ER-353) presented the work dedicated to the environmental pollution and won in the section “Video advertisement”.
The “Contest of Creative teams” was presented in the form of the tasks from the business partners of the fest. The participants gathered in the teams and presented their projects and the results of the tasks that the partners had set. The tasks were suggested by the companies “Volgostroy” (the concept of the branded logo, name and conception of the new residential compound in Dzerzhinsky District), “SushiVesla” (concept of the viral advertising) and “Blinberry” (concept of the new packages for the well-known crepes), partners of the fest “Gold Tomato-2017”.
The winners of the task suggested by the company “Volgostroy” were the teams “Adjika” of VSPC (1st prize), «EmojiNation» of VSTU (2nd prize) and “Puzzle” of VTC (3rd prize).
The winners of the task suggested by “Blinberry” were the teams “Advertisement and Contacts” of VSU (1st prize) and “Raisin” of VTC (2nd prize).
The winners of the task suggested by “SushiVesla” were the teams «Bottle» of VSTU (1st prize) and «EmojiNation» of VSTU (2nd prize).
All the videos were very emotional and creative. The Redactor of the informational portal “Tsaritsyn RF”, author and link man of the program “Tsaritsyn Stories” Roman Shkoda’s performance was a nice present for the participants of the fest. He told about the history of the development of advertisement in Tsaritsyn. All the materials collected by Roman Shkoda are unique.
