S.K. Volkov – dean of the faculty of economics and management of the regional flagship university – realized work experience and job related training on the Program of Indian technical and economic cooperation

From 7 to 18 January dean of the faculty of economics and management of VSTU – Sergey Konstantinovich Volkov – realized his work experience and job related training on the Program of Indian technical and economic cooperation, course Science Diplomacy.
Work experience and job related training took place at the Research Institute of Information Systems for Developing Countries. Program of on the job training was eventful and included not only lectures sessions (speakers of which were not only employees of the host institution, but also representatives of foreign diplomatic mission in India as well as the staff members of the national government), but also outdoor events (within which visits to Genetics Institute in New Delhi, International solar alliance, Institute of energy and resources were organized).
At the end of the on-the-job training defence of participants’ projects took place. Dean S.K. Volkov gave the report under the headline “Universities as centres of scientific diplomacy: experiment of Volgograd State Technical University”, in which he covered in details the work of the flagship university in the sphere of organization of international and scientific cooperation and realization of scientific and research work, told about university scientific potential in terms of publication activities and holding of research and practice conferences and scientific events.
At the end of the on-the-job training dean of the faculty of economics and management received a certificate and published an article in a sourcebook.
