«Foreign Languages Costumed Song Contest - 2017»

The «Foreign Languages Costumed Song Contest - 2017» took place on the 12th of May at Volzhsky Polytechnical Institute. The Chair of Social and Humanitarian disciplines and the Engineering-Economical Faculty of the Institute organized the event.
Directed by the Dean of the Engineering-Economical Faculty Eugenia Prikhodko and the Head of the Chair of Social and Humanitarian disciplines Yuri Dubrovchenko, the jury evaluated the students’ command of language, vocal and dancing talents.
The palette of styles was very rich – from well-known pop songs to hard rock. The Associate Professor of Volzhsky Polytechnical Institute Vladimir Kryachko awarded the diplomas to the winners of the Olympiad of German and English languages.
The jury selected the winners of the «Foreign Languages Costumed Song Contest - 2017»:
- Olesya Shkoda and Danil Krasilnikov from the group VM-136 (song «Counting Stars») and Andrei Kazachkov from the group VIP-308 (song «I'm so tired») became first;
- The group VM-236 (song «Sunny»), Mikhail Lugovoy from the group VAU-226 and Pavel Ageev from the group VHT-301 (song “I’m not yours”) became second;
- The group VMS-138 (song «Boulevard of broken dreams») and the students from the groups VE-211 and VEM-213 (song «Who run the world») became third;
Then the members of the jury selected the winners in the nominations “For Courage”, “For Commitment to win” and “For Originality”.
The Head of the Institute Alexander Fetisov awarded the well-deserved diplomas to the students.
