The representatives of the Flagship University are taking part in the International Forum of the Volunteers in Moscow

The International Forum of the Volunteers opened as a final event of the Volunteer's Year in Moscow. 15 000 activists from Russia and more than 120 countries of the world are taking part in the Forum. The event supposes the educational programs, discussions and master classes, presentations, visits of the biggest charity funds and volunteers' centers, special social events.
Our Flagship University is represented by the worker of the Public Affairs Office Andrey Debely and Head of the labor union organization of Kamyshin Technological Institute (Affiliate) of VSTU Roman Ogar. (Andrey Debely won in the regional stage of the contest "Russian Volunteer - 2018" in the nomination "Volunteer is speaking" with the project #VolgogradWithoutDrugs).
The polytechnic leaders and activists of the voluntary organization met the Minister of Science and Higher Education Mikhail Kotukov and the Minister of Education Olga Vasilieva within the framework of the session "Role of the Education Area in the Social Changes" and discussed the effective ways of cooperation of the government agencies with the voluntary community in the area of the realization of the educational programs. The young volunteers shared their experience, told about some difficulties and suggested their ideas.
Being under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science, 245 organizations have the active voluntary centers realizing the programs on the students' involvement into the social practice, educational activity, voluntary events in the areas of the social protection of the population, health service, culture and organization of the events.
The participants of the session "Voluntary activity in the realization of the counter-drugs politics: Tasks and Perspectives" discussed the role of the voluntary organizations of Russia in the realization of the state counter-drugs politics. The future projects in the area of the international voluntary cooperation were discussed in the session "World: possibilities for Russia".
The Forum will close on the 5th of December with the festive concert dedicated to the National Volunteer's Day, and the winners of the All-Russian Contest "Russian Volunteer" will be announced.
