“City news”: citizens of Volgograd in The Kremlin: Vladimir Putin met with the winners of the competition “Russian Leaders”

The results were announced some days ago in Sochi. 104 people became leaders of the competition.
On March 19 Vladimir Putin met with the winners of the competition “Russian Leaders” in Kremlin. The results of the competition were summed up two days ago in Sochi, where gathered 300 managers from all over the country. As the result 104 people became the best according to reports of “City news” with reference to press relations service of the presidential administration. Among the winners there are three our townsmen. At the meeting Vladimir Putin pointed out that this year the competition “Russian Leader” received a record number of applications. 227 thousand sent application forms. In the end finalists of the competition will get one million rubles. Apart from money reward they will be offered supervisors who are representatives of high regional authorities of Russia, executives of big companies and social organizations, representatives of leadership of the Presidential Administration and others.
Supervisors are people with great experience of work, who proved their competence by the results of their work. That’s why it will be interesting for you. I hope that it will be not only interesting, but also useful for various kinds of activities –Vladimir Putin noted.
Among 104 winners of the competition there are three citizens of Volgograd: security director of the company “Hermes-Retail” - Igor Andreev, the head of the department of VSTU - Maksim Shcherbakov, the head of the regional committee of education, science and youth policy - Andrei Seidov.
Last year our townsmen also tried prentice hand in “Russian Leaders” and then two people reached the final.
Let us recall that this competition is a project of the platform “Russia is a country of prospects”. It was organized upon an initiative of the president Vladimir Putin. The main goal of “Russian Leaders” is to support promising chiefs.
