The contest of the students’ projects “ProjectNext” at VSTU


The contest “ProjectNext” took place at VSTU within the framework of the realization of the Program of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Volgograd State Technical University” aimed at the foundation of the University Center of the innovative, technological and social development, program of the development of VSTU as a Flagship University of Volgograd District. This is the project from the complex of the events planned within the framework of the realization of the strategic project “ProActive” aimed at the initialization and support of the project activity in the district. The Projects Fair “ProjectNext” contributes to the development of the students’ business activity and formation of their competences in the Technological Entrepreneurship and Projects Management Areas.

Opening the official part of the event, the First Vice-Rector of VSTU Alexander Navrotsky remarked the importance of the organization of these projects: VSTU became one of the winners of the federal project “Universities as Centers of the Creation of Innovations” on the 14th of December in Belgorod.

The jury consisted of the representatives of the Committees of the Regional Administration (Committee of IT and Communications of Volgograd District, Regional Industry Committee, Committee of Economic Policy and Development of Volgograd District), Patent Designated Agent of the Russian Federation (representative of Volgograd commercial and industrial chamber), representatives of the enterprises “Titan-Barricades”, “Daily Consulting”, “ASTOR”, business consultants of «PG Сonsulting» and representatives of the University.

39 students’ works were presented during the Fair. The students of different training areas from the Flagship University and all its affiliates took part in the event.

Yana Tkachenko and Julia Kuzina won in the nomination “Popular Election” with the project dedicated to the optimization of the transport movements.

Denis Kravtsov and Roman Drobotov (VSTU) got the III grade Diploma for the Transport Scheme Modernization Project.

Nadezhda Sirenko (Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute of VSTU) got the II grade Diploma for the project “Integrated playgrounds for the children with limited health capacities”.

Klim Novgorodov (Volzhsky Polytechnical Institute) got the I grade Diploma for the project “Catamaran on solar batteries”.

The winner of the contest “The best project of the year 2017” will get the certificate for 100 000 rubles for the realization of the project.
