Regional stage of the all-Russian Olympiad in informatics and ICT took place at VSTU

On January 26 and 28, regional stage of the all-Russian Olympiad in informatics and ICT for school students, in which participated 45 students of 9-11 grades from Volgograd, Volzhsky and municipal districts of Volgograd region, was held on the basis of VSTU.
It is worth mentioning that all students have successfully passed school stage of the Olympiad and were invited to take part in the regional stage. This year Olympiad was held at the flagship university in the classrooms of the department of Automated systems software, where seniors could perform given tasks in comfortable conditions. By the way they had 4 tasks every day and 5 hours to complete them.
Judges headed by assistant professor of the department of Computer science – Pavlova Elena Stanislavna – have already summarized the results, which are presented on the website of the admission office, in the section “Olympiads of VSTU”.
